Viking Wool Nature's Original Technical Fabric After thousands of years of isolation withstanding severe weather, Icelandic sheep developed a unique two fiber wool. One fiber is long, hollow, glossy and water-repellent, the other fiber is soft, luxurious and insulating. This combination of fibers, having no other counterpart anywhere in the world results in a wool that is warm, light weight and water-repellent and has stood the test of centuries. Tenth Mountain continues its traditional designs in 100% Icelandic wool and introduces an original collection of Icelandic wool-fleece. The design motifs of this unique collection are inspired by Viking art, mythology, and legend, and the dramatic natural landscapes of the North. |
